Remember that 2Pac hologram that Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg brought out during their set at Coachella?
Rumors went wild after that speculating that a hologram version of Tupac or Michael Jackson might hit the road for a tour.
Well that sure won’t happen since Pitchfork reports that Digital Domain Media Group, the company behind the 2Pac hologram, has filed for bankruptcy.
According to CNN, the filing didn’t come as a surprise; the company had made public its concerns with debt and overhead. In addition to doing special effects for several blockbuster films, DDMG had also been planning to develop an Elvis Presley hologram, as Vulture reports, for a “range of entertainment projects.”
