R&B singer Usher Raymond has filed a motion to block his ex/wife Tameka Foster from re-opening their child custody trial, in which she lost to the singer a few weeks ago.
Tameka claims that since Usher’s lawyer previously gave campaign contributions to the judge in their case, and his ruling was biased. So she wants another trial with a different judge.
According to the docs, Usher claims that her motion was “an assault on the integrity of the court.” He argues that it would be time-consuming for every judicial case to be reversed simply because of campaign contributions.
He added that the motion “constitutes a continuum of [Tameka's] vile and unsupported claims that every person who dared testify against her … is biased and tainted.”
