Snooki Gives Birth to Baby Boy Lorenzo

Snooki and her fiance Jionni LaValle welcomed their first child in the world — a 6-pound, 5-ounce baby boy they named Lorenzo Dominic LaValle — early Sunday morning (Aug 26) at a hospital in New Jersey.

Showing off her excitement about being a new mom, the MTV reality star posted the following to Twitter:

Sharing in the excitement, reps for Snooki and MTV both released statements.

“The world just got another Guido!!! Lorenzo Dominic LaValle has entered the world weighing 6lbs, 5oz. Nicole, Jionni & Enzo are doing great!” read the statement from Snooki’s publicist … while an MTV rep said separately, “We couldn’t be happier for Nicole and Jionni on the healthy delivery of their baby boy! We look forward to Lorenzo’s first trip to the Jersey Shore and can’t wait to see his first animal print onesie.”
