According to TMZ, Chad Johnson made a deal with prosecutors so he wouldn’t go to jail for assaulting his ex-wife Evelyn Lozada last month during an argument.
For a guilty or no contest plea, the jobless wide receiver agreed to be on probation, takeanger management, and have no contact with Evelyn. Their divorce was finalized yesterday.
So his charge is a misdemeanor battery and he won’t be seeing the pen interior at this point in time.
At a hearing tomorrow, the judge will sign off on the dotted line to make it official.
