Our people came from Israel, our religion is Muslim. A lot of black people choose not to be educated about our truths and past history. I don’t have a religion preference, I consider myself spiritual, however, I do know that the religions of Baptist, Christian, and Catholic is not meant for us. People tend to follow the religion, world views, political party, and traditions of their families and never question why you are following those particular beliefs. Ppl just accept what is.

Why he so concerned about afriacan Americans praising God, if he’s an atheist?? Makes me wonder…

    • Jeremy Richardson

“Sorry to say, but this guy is wacky tacky”

      1. Where is your God located? Heaven?
      2. Where is Heaven located?
      3. Why does your God allow the humans that he created continue to suffer everyday like an asshole? Why have doctors do his dirty work? He’s God right. Let him heal us in person.
      4. Why do only two of the Gospels talk about the Virgin Birth?

The only person that is “Wacky tacky” is you for believing in something that you can’t see. What makes matters worse is that this same God you believe in says its OK for a woman to be taken to her father’s doorstep and be stoned to death for various reasons. The God of the bible didn’t respect women at all. But, you love this jerk? But, have the nerve to call somebody “wacky tacky”?

He is right on the money. The very idea of a “spirit” is ridiculous.

He’s right, and this is why I’m a catholic schooled atheist! I’m good because I want to be, not because I think I’m gonna be “highly favored” over any other living being. I live to do the most conscious good, and the least conscious evil…the only belief I have is equality for all! I don’t need an ancient book written by sheep herders who though the earth was flat, and believed in talking snakes and pregnant virgins!

If that’s the case all black Christians should be thanking God that people stop by Africa for slaves or you all would be going to hell. So you should find the closest white man and give him reparations for saving you and your ancestor’s eternal soul

  • Elder Bennie Stallworth

Nothing this guy’s saying is truthful! 1. I don’t follow a white God 2. I don’t follow what the white slave owners believe bcuz people do take things out of the bible and twist them to benefit or justify their actions, back then and still today! 3. I follow Christ, that’s why I am a Christ-ian. My suggestion to the atheist and all that agree with him is not to follow man bcuz in doing so man can lead you straight to hell. Follow God and God’s Word!

I take your point. However, one must ask the question; “As an African, how did I come by the Bible? By an agent of the Lord or at the end of the lash?” As Africans we didn’t get to choose Christianity, it was enforced, that doesn’t strike me as being very “Christian”.

We as Africans never got the opportunity to debate, discuss or exercise discernment as to whether adopting Christianity would be a good move for us socially and spiritually. The Ashkenazim Jews (The Khazars) made the CONSCIOUS choice to convert to Judaism. At what point did we make such a conscious choice?

We have have been brow beaten into submission to Christianity to the point where THE MAN no longer needs to indoctrinate us. We efficiently do this ourselves the moment our children are born; baptism, communion, confirmation, mass, Easter, Christmas etc…

Traditional religions in Africa long predate the advent of Christianity, so what made us give up these religions in favour of Christianity? Were we too stupid? We got it wrong? God doesn’t listen to the African heathens unless through the agency of our conquerors and their religious texts?

Undoubtedly, there are elements of the Bible that allude to African origins. However, the Bible has long since become a bastardization of anything African. The simple fact that a vast majority of the Bibles in circulation are versions of an original e.g. King James Version, New International, Gideon etc…tells us that what we are reading is in accordance to the wishes of the author, I have yet to see a version of the Bible with God’s name on it.

My dear brother, with the deepest of respect you no longer have your own true name, so what makes you think the religion you cleave to is yours?

      • Elder Bennie Stallworth

The word God says all would get the opportunity to know him! He didn’t says how! And I thank God personally bcuz I know him now

        • PNUT1

God is imaginary. You’ve been conned.

          Are you Uncle Tom’s nephew?

      • PNUT1

        Excellent post, Bravo !!!!

    • JoseanFigueroa

Slavery is ok in the Bible… so your ‘god’ is ok with the injustices perpetrated against your ancestors… And it is pathetic that you would use the ‘Hell’ bogeyman; are you a child?

  • Brivvy

He’s telling the truth. Call me a sellout all you want, but he is 100% correct.

    • JMaravilla

The only thing you’ve sold out for is the truth.

    • MsBeautiful

Agreeing with him does not make you a sellout…it’s truth shit

      • Iam Sierra

I agree agreeing with him means you have the ability to not conform you have thought for yourself.
