The good folks at Twitter Inc. should send a gift basket to Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill tomorrow morning. First, Nicki set the service on fire with a series of tweets questioning why her video for “Anaconda” wasn’t nominated by MTV for video of the year—a series of tweets Taylor Swift felt obligated to reply to. Later, Meek hopped on and sent a series of shots towards Nicki’s ex, Safaree “SB” Samuels. He then went on to carp about people who doubted he’d reach the level of success he’s currently enjoying.
And then, as if that wasn’t enough, he, seemingly apropos of nothing, started to tear down Drake for, among other things, not writing his own raps. Meek even went so far as to say that dude didn’t write the verse he spit “R.I.C.O.” from his latest album. Suffice to say, things escalated quickly as Drake responded saying….
“He actin like me and Weezy ain’t run a train on Nicki in 2012, Meek just mad cuz I hit it First, said a tickled Drake.” In response to the barrage of tweets Meek Mill sent out on Tuesday obviously drunk sending Twitter into a frenzy claiming that Drake doesn’t write his own raps.
