Pete Rose apparently killed himself by hanging, according to a preliminary coroner’s report released today. Marin County sheriff’s spokesman Lt Bruce Lane told reporters that the major league great, who is the all time hits leader, had hanged himself in his bedroom at his home before taking his own life.
