The mom of the little boy who fell into the gorilla enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo is being called negligent and neglectful for allowing her son to get away from her and crawl his way into the exhibit.
Now it turns out, the mom is a professional childcare worker.
Michelle Gregg has come forward to defend her actions at the zoo and claim the whole thing was just an accident.
However, many people simply are not buying it and over 20,000 netizens have signed a petition urging Child Protective Services to investigate the mother of four.

Many are also outraged to know that Gregg is actually a daycare administrator and regularly tends other people’s kids, which is easily verified with a public records search.
After zoo keepers fatally shot a young gorilla to save Gregg’s son, Gregg’s workplace was flooded with people on Facebook furious she was anywhere near other toddlers.
In response, Little Blossoms Academy tried first to delete the messages, writing on Facebook, “On behalf of the Little Blossoms Academy, we feel it is appropriate for us to remove comments or images posted to this page that in any way reference Michelle Gregg, her child, or the recent horrible incident that occurred at the Cincinnati Zoo.”
Later, they simply deactivated their Facebook page.
So far, CPS has not indicated if the plan to investigate Gregg or her husband Deonne Dickerson. Despite public outcry, the Cincinnati police say they have no plans for criminal charges against the couple.
