16 Teenage girls die and only one survivor remains in critical condition this morning after they were electrocuted in a swimming pool.

Reginald Porter age 18 was taken into custody and will be charged after he was upset that his girlfriend broke up with him subsequently threw his radio into the pool.

This was a private pool at a home along Rockcreeck Road in Laurel, Maryland.
Adults pulled the surviving girl out of the pool after she went into cardiac arrest.

Firefighters performed CPR until an officer arrived and used a defibrillator to resuscitate the girl, police said.

She was flown to the hospital by helicopter. Her name was not released.
Police said the 16 other girls in the pool died instantly.

Porter’s high school girlfriend had broken up with him the night before via text message. He repeatedly called and left threatening text messages saying:

“I promise you I will be the last boyfriend you ever have you cold heartless B*tch”

He then came to the pool party with his boom box and used an extenstion cord to plug it up to play music by the pool. He put on the song “Feel No Ways” by rapper Drake’s latest album(Views) on repeat. That song is what he said caused him to commit the crime and he wanted it to be the last thing his girlfriend heard before she died. When the girls were reportedly playing Marco Polo he threw the radio into the pool while it was still plugged in. It is said he stood and watched as the girls were being electrocuted to death and was laughing.

Porter will be arraigned tomorrow and faces 16 counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. He will undergo a psychiatric evaluation to see if he is fit to stand trial.

It is very easy to find out whether it is true since the city and state are listed. Cases such as these are public knowledge. The fact that it was not on a major public news media could contingent upon the families’ requests or that the news media was never contacted. There are a plethora of newsworthy incidences or tragedies that never made the news.

what is truly scary is that IDIOTS like the previous posters, actually BELIEVE this sewage… and more scary is the fact that some can VOTE….

  • Faechyld

If this happened recently why wasn’t it a major news story? Actually I read and watch a lot of news and never heard of this and the absence of call letters for “channel 5 news” makes this a very suspicious story.

    • Kyle Jarnagin

Because it’s not major. Little things like this happen everyday.

    • JS+7

      It didn’t happen.

  • CC1980

What’s the tow truck for! With everything having to be equipped with GFIs esp around water pools etc I find this story to be highly suspect of being BS. Though I do believe the part where the rap (crap) song made him do it.

Looks like to me this would have kicked a breakers out in the main.

So we’re going with the whole rap song made me kill typical there is nothing mentally wrong with that boy stop using your privileged eyes. Don’t you think that something is wrong with him is that he’s a murderer and he needs to be put underneath the jail give him a hundred and something years.

Spoiled brat. Barely legal age and facing 16 counts of manslaughter. That won’t look very good on your resumes, jerk.

    • Dee
